Venice was founded by Abbot Kinney in 1905 as a seaside resort town. Today, it’s an energetic beach town with upscale residential pockets and commercial properties along almost 3 miles of coastline. The free-spirited Venice Boardwalk is one of the most interesting and popular sites in Los Angeles to stroll through with funky shops, street performers, and colorful murals to revel at. Abbot Kinney Boulevard was dubbed “The Coolest Block in America” and has some of the best foodie hot-spots, stylish boutiques and local coffee bars around. Also, if you didn’t know they were there, one could easily walk right by The Venice Canals off 25th street. Here you will find four quarter-mile long canals with upscale luxury residences situated along the water.
