"The coastal gem" of Los Angeles County, Palos Verdes, is just south of Los Angeles and is known for its dramatic ocean and city views. The peninsula is broken up into four different neighborhoods: Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, and Rancho Palos Verdes. Rancho Palos Verdes or "RPV" is a high-end area of the peninsula with large properties, excellent schools, quiet streets, and breathtaking views of the ocean and city. These neighborhoods share amazing coastal views, rolling hills, cliffs, and lush landscapes. There are a variety of easily accessible outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and surfing. Palos Verdes is known for its stunning seaside resort Terranea, which has access to hiking trails and the ocean. Another main attraction is the stunning "Glass Church" called Wayfarers Chapel, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright's son Lloyd in 1949.
